Giftsmiths Return & Refund Policy

Overview

Giftsmiths is an online marketplace connecting gift buyers with independent vendors and artisans. All products on our platform are sold and fulfilled directly by our vendor partners. As a marketplace facilitator, we want to ensure transparency about our policies regarding returns and refunds.

No Returns or Exchanges Policy

  • All sales on the Giftsmiths platform are final
  • Returns are not accepted for any purchases made through our marketplace
  • Exchanges are generally not accepted
  • Individual vendors may offer exchanges at their discretion
  • Contact your vendor directly if you wish to inquire about their exchange policy
  • This policy applies to all items listed on Giftsmiths.com

Vendor Relations

  • All products are sold and fulfilled directly by independent vendors
  • Each vendor is responsible for:
    • Product quality and accuracy
    • Order fulfillment and shipping
    • Customer service related to their products
    • Resolution of any issues or disputes

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged item or the wrong product:

  1. Contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp or our website's contact form
  2. Provide clear photos showing the damage or wrong item received
  3. We will review your claim and respond within 3-5 business days
  4. If approved, the vendor will replace the item at their expense
  5. Vendors may request the damaged/incorrect item be returned
    • Return shipping in these cases will be paid for by the vendor
    • Vendor will provide return shipping instructions and labels
  6. Replacement items will be shipped after proof is verified or, if requested, after the original item is returned

Note: All replacements are handled directly by vendors, not by Giftsmiths marketplace.

Marketplace Role

As a marketplace platform, Giftsmiths:

  • Facilitates connections between buyers and sellers
  • Processes payments securely
  • Maintains the platform infrastructure
  • Does not handle physical products or fulfillment
  • Cannot process returns or refunds directly

Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed through our secure platform
  • Funds are released to vendors according to our vendor agreement
  • Refunds, if approved by the vendor, must be processed by the vendor directly

Dispute Resolution

In cases of significant issues:

  • First attempt to resolve the matter with the vendor
  • Giftsmiths may mediate disputes but cannot guarantee specific outcomes

Quality Assurance

While we cannot accept returns, we:

  • Vet vendors before allowing them on our platform
  • Monitor vendor performance and customer feedback
  • Remove vendors who consistently fail to meet our standards
